The most important feeling you can have in your marriage or relationship is that feeling of trust. You absolutely know you can trust your partner and that is what makes your relationship special.

Sadly, a lot of people do cheat on their partners and if, for some reason, you begin to have your doubts about your partner that can seriously damage your relationship.

The worry that you might have a cheating husband or a cheating wife can be almost as damaging as if they told you they were cheating and they didn’t care if you knew. It’s a damaging emotion that eats away at your self confidence and your security.

Most people imagine that it is men who cheat but women cheating on their partners is becoming a lot more common and often women are better at hiding the signs as I know from bitter personal experience.

It is important for your peace of mind and your sanity that you can be sure that your trust is not misplaced. You need to be sure your partner is truthful and honest with you and if he, or she, is not then you need to know that too to avoid wasting your trust on someone who doesn’t deserve you.

I was struck by a line on the description of the ebook called ‘Beating Cheating’. It says “Don’t be the fool by being the ONLY person who doesn’t know your partner is cheating on you.” Well, that was me and boy does it hurt to discover that you are the only one who didn’t know! It’s your partner, the person you thought you were closest to in the whole world yet you didn’t know they were cheating on you and all your friends either knew or had their doubts about them. It does make you feel a fool and it takes a long time to recover from a betrayal like that.
